So many circles!

Circolino
Designed by Resistenza Type Foundry

Circolino builds every letter from circles. Hundreds of fine rings overlap and travel along each stroke, like a line drawn with a spirograph. From a distance the letters read as bold, rounded shapes. Up close they turn into a dense, shimmering pattern.

Circolino has 4 variable axes, and each one changes how the rings behave:

Shape turns the circles into squircles, so the texture becomes sharper and more faceted. Turn rotates that shape, from diamond to squircle, and adds new rhythms inside the strokes. Size controls how large the rings are. At full size the letters are rich and heavy. At the smallest setting (Mini) they become light, airy outlines where you can see each ring.

The axes can be combined freely, so a single file holds endless textures. Circolino really comes alive in animation, where letters can spin, grow and burst. It's also a natural choice for posters, packaging, music and event graphics, and any headline that should be looked at as much as read.

The family comes with four named instances (Regular, Rombo, Squircle and Mini), a stylistic set, and support for Western European languages.
